Payment conditions

Vässarö is run by the Stockholm District of the Swedish Scouts and Guides Association and is a non-profit youth organization.

Any small surplus is unabridged invested back in the organization. The organization is financed through the participation fees but also to a large extent grants from private foundations and sponsors.

Generous booking procedure regarding number of participants and payment conditions

We are trying to be generous with our booking and payment conditions to give the oppertunity for as many as possible to afford coming to us. We recommend you book for a preliminary number +/- 10%.

Once you’ve made a booking you receive a mail containing a booking confirmation and an invoice for the booking fee. Before 28^th of February the year of the camp an advance consisting of 50% of the camp fee must be payed. If the booking is made after 28^th of February, the due date is 30 days.

Simple pricing without economical suprises – all is included!

Everything you need for a good stay is included in the price. A campsite with running fresh and salt water, recycling room and outhouse. Enough activities on land and on water. 4 meals everyday in raw products for you to cook. You don’t have to buy anything extra to have a good stay with us.

If you want to buy something extra – snacks, packed lunch or extra ingredients

If you have a long way to travel home you can buy lunch to bring with you, or if you want something extra to eat during the activities you can buy an extra snack consisiting of saft, cinnamon bun and fruit.

When you send the form to the Food supply 5 weeks before your arrival it’s good to note if you wish for something extra. We can almost always offer saft, buns, fruit and cheese tray. If you want something else this has to pre-ordered.

Activities that cost extra

Light trail with canoes – to be booked at sight if weather and staff capacity allows

This cost 500SEK per trail to cover fuel and marshals.

Parking in Strömsviken (the main land)

If you travel by car there is a parking lot near our doc. The cost is 35SEK per car per 24 hours it’s parked. The payment is made either directly at the camp office or when you review the invoice document the day before you leave.
